Five things to look closer at.
Use these questions on your next visit. They are prompts to investigate, not verified ratings.
Work out the real monthly cost
No current rent range is verified on this page. Compare several current homes with the same size, furnishing and building type before deciding what is fair.
- Ask for rent, maintenance, parking and any water or power-backup charges separately.
- Confirm the deposit, refund conditions, notice period and deductions in the rental agreement.
- Add moving costs and any brokerage to your first-month budget.
- Do not treat an advertised asking rent as a completed transaction price.
Test the commute
Check your exact door-to-door journey at the time you would travel. A nearby metro station does not tell you the walk, waiting time or last-mile cost.
- Check current first and last trains and fares with BMRCL.
- Walk the route from the building to the station or bus stop.
- Try the journey during your normal commute window before committing.
Official BMRCL site. This page does not verify current fares, train times or journey durations.
Ask about water
Water supply is not verified for any building on this page. Ask the owner and at least one resident about the actual source and reliability.
- Is the building supplied by Cauvery water, a borewell, tankers or a mix?
- What are the supply hours, storage capacity and extra charges?
- Were tankers needed in the most recent summer? Ask for bills if available.
Rain and flooding
In the May 2025 pre-monsoon rain, water entered homes and basements in parts of Indiranagar, and residents protested over waterlogging. We do not know which streets flooded.

Noise
A February 2021 Times of India report recorded residents' complaints about pub noise around 100 Feet Road and 12th Main. The same report included differing accounts from police and traders. It is historical reporting, not a current noise measurement.
